Description
These are authentic 1780’s New Jersey coppers. Issued by the state in the intervening years between the Articles of Confederation and the US constitution!
A great part of our history before the constitution prevented individual states from issuing money.
This is a nice example. There is no date. But most of the text is visible including E. Pluribus Unum. The plow and horse are visible.
