This is 1970 proof Kennedy Half Dollar.  This beautiful Proof Half is a great pick up for your collection.  Pulled from an 1970 proof set.  1970 was the last year the US mint made all Kennedy halves out of silver by default.  They were not released for circulation as the mint deemed them not cost effective.  In 1971 they issued the first non silver circulating half.
