Description
These historic Silver Jefferson War Nickels were struck during World War II and contain 35% silver, a composition used to save nickel for the war effort. Each coin features Thomas Jefferson on the obverse and Monticello on the reverse, with a large mintmark above the dome indicating its wartime silver content. Coins in Very Fine Plus (VF+) condition display strong detail with moderate wear, retaining solid eye appeal and visible design elements.
